Thousands of Armenian protestors met RA President Serzh Sargsyan in Lebanon. Diaspora representatives gathered to show their resentment over Armenia-Turkey Protocols.

Beirut was the last stop of the RA President’s tour. The protestors gathered near the luxury hotel where Serzh Sargsyan stayed, waving red, blue and orange Armenian flag and brandishing banners condemning the proposed agreement between Armenia and Turkey, BBC reports.

“We're here because we want to say no to the agreement with Turkey. It is not fair. You can't just negate the past, and go on,” said one of the protestors Ani Didanian, “The Turks should pay the price for all the stolen land, and the one and a half million victims that died,” she added.

The Lebanese Armenians are virtually all descendants of Genocide survivors, the source informs.
