Armenia has revised its approach to fiscal rules for retaining public debt, finance minister Atom Janjughazyan said at the parliament's meeting.

According to him, in 2017 there is a budget deficit of 267 million AMD or 4.8% of GDP.

The minister noted that in 2018 there was a deficit of 105 billion AMD or 1.8% of GDP, and 64 billion AMD or 1% of GDP in 2019.

This testifies to the consolidation of fiscal policy, the minister noted.
