The establishment of Armenian-Turkish diplomatic relations will contribute to the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, U.S. former Deputy Secretary of State and the President of Brookings Institution (USA) Strobe Talbott told the journalists at the World Public Forum Dialogue of Civilizations held in Rhodes, Greece, October 8-12.

He told reporters about his immediate experience in the Minsk process, with Russia actively involved in it.

The settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict meets the interests of both Russia and U.S, Talbott said, pointing out that the sides pronounced for the Armenia-Turkey reconciliation. He added that Armenian-Azerbaijani relations are immediately linked with the Armenia-Turkey relations.
