Armenian and Turkish Parliaments will ratify the Protocols, George Mason University Professor of Government and Politics Mark Katz told Azerbaijani Day.az website.

“Although the Armenian Diaspora may have strong influence in the countries where it resides, I don't think it is so influential in Armenia itself,” Katz noted. The latter also said it was U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton who got the Turkish and Armenian foreign ministers to sign the protocols, with Lavrov playing a supporting role," said Katz.

According to the American expert, the agreement over Nagorno-Karabakh conflict is ready to be signed. “I believe that outside powers, whether U.S. and Russia could play an important role in helping them iron out the remaining details,” Katz outlined.
