Armenian National Congress is still a weighty political force, Vice-President of the Republican Party of Armenia Razmik Zohrabyan stated. “Ultimately, we saw both the weight of ANC in the presidential race, the resistance and the number of votes for ARFD. Presently, I do not see reapportionment in the opposition camp” Zohrabyan outlined.

ANC had always laid claims to the authorities, however expressed consent to the RA President’s policy in Armenia-Turkey relations, the politician noted.

“Dashnaktsutyun” is a 119-year old political force and we did not see 1915 and 1918 Alexandropol and Kars Treaties, but they did, thus certainly have historic problems with Turks. No matter what we do today, they will say it is wrong, let’s make it our way, whereas their thinking is unfamiliar to us. They merely oppose. At least we said what we wanna do," Zohrabyan concluded.
