Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan met with Azerbaijani MPs delegation in Ankara on October 14. “The meeting with honorable Prime Minister made good impression on us. We discussed maintenance of peace, cooperation and economic growth in the region. Prime Minister reiterated the words he had said in Azerbaijani parliament. Turkey will always take Azerbaijan’s interests into account, do its best for the solution to Nagorno-Karabakh conflict,” the Chairman of Azerbaijani parliament committee on international relations Samad Seyidov said after the meeting, Azerbaijani APA news agency reports.

According to the delegation member Asef Hajiyev, Erdogan restated that Armenia should take necessary steps after the Protocols’ signing: “Turkish Prime Minister said the heads of the leading states were told how official Ankara will act if Armenia does not take necessary steps after the protocols.” Turkish Premier outlined: “Now it is Armenia’s turn. If Armenia will not take this step, the situation will not be good.”

Today MPs will also meet with the Turkish Parliament Speaker Mehmet Ali Sahin.
