The head of Romanian and Bulgarian Diocese of Armenian Apostolic Church Archbishop Dirayr Mardigian, passed away on May 11.
“His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, the Supreme Spiritual Council of the Armenian Church and the clergy deeply mourn the loss of Archbishop Dirair Mardikian,” reads the statement by Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin press service.
Archbishop will be buried in Bucharest.
