President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko will pay an official visit to Azerbaijan, Azerbaijani Ambassador to Belarus Ali Teimur ogly Nagiev stated on May 25, BELTA agency reports.

In a few days President Alexander Lukashenko will visit Azerbaijan, he said. According to him, the visit will give a significant impetus to bilateral relations.

Speaking of Lukashenko’s impending visit, the Ambassdor said that the officials will discuss a wide range of issues. He does not rule out that the Presidents will discuss energy cooperation. He stressed Azerbaijan is open for cooperation and is ready to be involved in various projects, such as Nabucco, Odessa-Brody and others.
