October 16, RA Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan received Ukrainian Minister of Industrial Policy, the Co-Chairman of Armenian-Ukrainian Intergovernmental Commission on economic cooperation Vladimir Novitskiy.

RA Premier underlined the necessity to intensify the Commission’s activities that will give a new impetus to the development of bilateral economic relations, RA Government information and PR department informed NEWS.am. In this context, Sargsyan welcomed yesterday’s visit of the delegation headed by Kharkov Governor to Armenia, pointing out the expansion of cooperation between the two countries’ regions.

Despite the reduction of trade turnover between the states in 2009 under the global crisis, the officials expressed confidence that the current economy level does not correspond to the real economic potential and appropriate measures should be taken.
