“Any attempts to present Nagorno-Karabakh within Azerbaijan territorial integrity are unclear and unacceptable,” said NKR President Bako Sahakyan at July 10 Pan-Armenian conference on Armenian-Turkish relations’ and Karabakh issue in Stepanakert. According to him, those attempts not only ignore the current natural process of Artsakh people life and history development, but also contradicts our past, NEWS.am informs.

“Artsakh, the main negotiator presently does not participate in talks and we have to achieve the restoration of this crucial principle. It is impossible to fulfill any decision without NKR consent. We repeatedly stated that are supporters of peace process with equal rights of all involved sides. However Azerbaijani authorities have diverse opinion and permanently say of their 'right' to solve the Karabakh problem by coercive methods,” Sahakyan continued.

According to him, Artsakh has always been true to its principles, well defending its borders, building and reinforcing the state, efficiently overcoming difficulties while regaining and developing the country. “As a result the world acknowledged that we are a entirely formed society and an established state pursuing democracy principles,” said Bako Sahakyan.

“Authorities of Artsakh and Armenia have made several statements that aggressive announcements and advocacy provoking military actions are unacceptable. People of Artsakh experienced horrors of war and losses and are well aware of the value and importance of peace in the region. Although this does not mean we are not ready to repulse worthily any encroachments of the enemy,” the President mentioned.
