October 22, oppositional Armenian National Congress (ANC) leader Levon Ter-Petrosyan met with U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Tina S. Kaidanow and U.S. Ambassador to Armenia Marie Yovanovitch.

The officials discussed the recent developments in Armenia-Turkey relations and Karabakh conflict settlement. They touched upon democracy issue in Armenia, in particular the matters on political prisoners’ release and fight against corruption.

ANC central office members Levon Zurabyan and Avetis Avagyan also participated.
