YEREVAN. – The number of Armenians visiting Turkey increased by 8% during the first half of 2011.
A total of 25,295 tourists visited Turkey as compared with the same period last year (23,423), Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
Only in July 6,460 Armenian citizens visited Turkey, which is 5,8% more than in July 2010.
It is noteworthy 69,323 citizens of Armenia visited Turkey in 2010.
