YEREVAN. - International Day of Cooks will be first celebrated in Armenia. The participants and visitors of the event will have an opportunity to taste dishes of 22 countries.

The festival is likely to be held on Northern Avenue on October 20-25, Head of Armenian Association of Cooks Armen Mandalyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Over 95 member states of the World Association of Chefs Associations expressed a desire to take part in the festival, but there are some technical issues. No information is yet available on the exact number of participants, though at least 22 countries will present their national cuisine. The Armenian cuisine at the festival will be presented in the best possible way.
