Ar least eleven Turkish servicemen, including a major and one village guard were killed by PKK militants in Cukurca district of Hakkari province in Turkey.
The soldiers were killed due to mine explosions targeting special forces on Hakkari-Cukurca road, Milliyet newspaper reports. Following the explosion, an armored car plunged into a gorge killing 3 soldiers.
