Four-member International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) watchdog arrived in Iran October 25 to inspect the underground uranium enrichment plant near Qom. BBC Russian Service informs that the experts abstained from making comments after the familiarization works.
It is expected that IAEA watchdog’s second (minimum three-day) visit will take place this week, ITAR-TASS informs. Iranian authorities say the inspections aim to assure the international community that nuclear works in the plant are peaceful.
Tehran has disclosed the uranium enrichment plant near Qom on September 21. Upon the October 1 negotiations UN observers were alloud to inspect the plant.
