Armenian junior chess players Avetik Grigoryan and Anna Hayrapetyan take part in the World Junior Chess Championship in Argentina, Sportinfo.am agency reports.
After the fifth round, Grigoryan and Hayrapetyan scored 3.5 points each and shared 8-19 and 4-13 places in the standings (among 84 and 45 participants respectively).
Avetik Grigoryan will face Ivan Popov (Russia), Anna Hayrapetyan-Josefina Paulette (Romania) in the sixth round. Both Armenian chess players will play black.
