Audi has presented an electric crossover Q8 e-tron and its coupe version Sportback.
The novelty is the successor of the original e-tron model released four years ago, it has changed externally and got a higher-capacity battery. The base model is equipped with two electric motors with a total capacity of 340 hp and torque of 664 Nm. Cruising range for Audi Q8 50 e-tron is 491 km, and for Q8 Sportback 50 e-tron - 505 km (according to the cycle WLTP).
Q8 55 e-tron and Q8 Sportback 55 e-tron modifications will receive two motors (408 hp and 664 Nm), on a single charge electric cars can overcome 582 and 600 kilometers, respectively. The most powerful versions SQ8 e-tron and SQ8 Sportback e-tron are equipped with a power plant of three electric motors which provide 517 hp and 973 Nm (range - 494 and 513 km respectively; top speed - 210 km/h).
There are three displays in the cabin, two of them (10.1" and 8.6") have touch-screen control. Many details in the interior of the new Audi electric car are made of recycled materials - for example, from PET bottles.
Start of the Audi Q8 e-tron preorders will be opened in the middle of November, the first deliveries on the market of Germany and other EU countries are planned for February next year. The cost of the crossovers starts from €74,400.
