“The opposition role is to blame the authorities and no wonder that Armenia-Turkey Protocols’ signing arouse heated discussions both in oppositional and public circles,” the Director of the Caucasus Institute Alexander Iskandaryan told the journalists Oct. 27.

Political analyst reckons there is nothing weird about the feel of nervousness after the Protocols’ signing amongst the public and actions initiated by ARFD. “ARFD acted as it was supposed to. As for the tension in society, it is natural as people who used to live without any relations with Turkey since 1993, are confused and see tricks in all,” Iskandaryan concluded.
