Armenian men national team gained a splendid victory in the seventh round of the 17th European Team Chess Championship in Novi Sad, Serbia.

Levon Aronian drew with Teimour Radjabov, Vladimir Hakobyan-Vugar Gashimov, Tigran Petrosyan-Shakhriyar Mamedyarov and Gabriel Sargsyan defeated Gadir Guseinov.

Armenian women chess players defeated Romanian national team. Elina Danielyan won Elena-Luminita Cosma, Lilit Mkrtchyan-Corina-Isabela Peptan, Lilit Galoyan-Carmen Voicu and Nelli Aginyan ended in a draw with Alina Motoc.

After the seventh round Armenia’s men team (11 points) shares 1-3 places with Azerbaijan and Russia, whereas women team-3-5 places with Czech and Georgian players.
