“I am surprised that you are taking a statement that bears no consequences seriously,” Samvel Nikoyan, RA National Assembly Deputy Chair, told NEWS.am commenting on NKR MP Armen Sargsyan’s statement.

As NEWS.am informed early, Armen Sargsyan said that statements on return of territories are unlawful on the territories under NKR’s jurisdiction. He told NEWS.am reporter that people making such statements should be persecuted as “it should be considered anti-Constitutional rather than democratic freedom of expression.”

“I am surprised that you ask my opinion on NKR MP’s statement. He has a constitutional right for freedom of speech,” Nikoyan pointed out.
