The two Armenian soldiers, whose whereabouts were unknown as a result of the September 2022 aggression, have been identified, Investigative Committee of Armenia informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Forensic medical and genetic examinations of the remains of presumably two Armenian soldiers transferred by Azerbaijan to Armenia were carried out to identify them within the framework of the criminal investigation launched at the Investigative Committee of Armenia in connection with the aggressive war unleashed against Armenia by Azerbaijan on September 13-14, 2022.

The conclusions of these examination have been received, as a result of which these two servicemen of Armenia, whose whereabouts were unknown as a result of the aggressive war of September 2022, have been identified. They are term soldier Tornik Sargsyan, 19, and contract soldier Shiraz Khachatryan, 33.

There are no more Armenians whose whereabouts are unknown due to this September 2022 military aggression by Azerbaijan, the Investigative Committee added.
