Hraparak daily of the Republic of Armenia (RA) writes as follows, in part: The annual workshop of heads of diplomatic missions of Armenia abroad started the previous day in Dilijan. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, President Vahagn Khachaturyan, deputy prime ministers were also present at the start of the two-day meeting.
According to the official statement, in his speech, Nikol Pashinyan reflected on the priorities and challenges of the RA foreign policy. “The Prime Minister's speech was followed by discussions on foreign policy issues, the existing problems and the possibilities of their solution," says the statement released by the government.
The prime minister's staff did not provide details of the discussion that was held, they did not even disseminate Pashinyan's speech, they did not even post it in parts on the internet. Meanwhile, in the past, the speech of the head of the country was always broadcast.
Our sources say that Pashinyan first presented his vision for possible geopolitical developments and the challenges facing Armenia, then he made the ambassadors face a choice, to put it mildly, saying in direct text that a difficult phase is ahead, Armenia faces serious challenges, so sometimes they will go to non-standard solutions, those who will not carry out the instructions of the political authorities like a faithful soldier and will not be guided by their adopted policy, can write a petition [for resignation] and leave. Our source does not rule out that there will be a change of some ambassadors in the near future, some will leave voluntarily, some will be changed by Pashinyan.
