Armenia's Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan received India's Minister of State for External Affairs Kirti Vardhan Singh, on the margins of the Yerevan Dialogue 2024 international forum Wednesday.

The interlocutors noted with satisfaction that the bilateral cooperation between Armenia and India is developing in a number of domains of mutual interest, and expressed their readiness to continue joint efforts toward further expansion of their bilateral agenda, the foreign ministry of Armenia informs Armenian News-NEWS.am. The possibility of interaction at various platforms and formats was also addressed.

In addition, Mirzoyan and Singh exchanged views on regional issues. In this connection, FM Mirzoyan emphasized that Armenia's vision for achieving stability and peace in the South Caucasus is clear, and it is based on unconditional respect for the fundamental principles of international law and a firm commitment to ensuring economic development and effective interconnection in the region. In this context, Mirzoyan presented the latest discussions on signing a peace treaty with Azerbaijan, as well as the steps being taken toward the unblocking of the regional communication channels. The importance of effective operation of economic and transport communications for the stakeholders, in general, in ensuring regional stability, was highlighted on both sides.
