Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia, Armen Grigoryan, on Wednesday participated in the 198th diplomatic roundtable discussion, entitled "Regional Security of the South Caucasus and the Crossroads Project for Peace," during his working visit to Japan.

Representatives of the diplomatic corps of Japan took part in this discussion online, Armenian News-NEWS.am was informed by the Office of the Security Council of Armenia. The security situation in the South Caucasus and the Armenian-Azerbaijani peace talks were touched upon in the discussion.

Also, Grigoryan presented the Crossroads of Peace project of Armenia and its opportunities. In addition, he noted that the development of the bilateral agenda with Japan is important from the point of view of diversifying Armenia's security and foreign policy, and emphasized Japan's participation in the development of infrastructure within the framework of the Crossroads of Peace project.
