By the decree of President Vahagn Khachaturyan, Arpine Sargsyan has been appointed the Minister of Internal Affairs of Armenia.

Sargsyan was appointed to this position based on the recommendation by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan—and in accordance with the constitution of Armenia and the  law on the structure and functioning of the Armenian government.

Earlier, Arpine Sargsyan was dismissed from the post of Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Armenia.
