YEREVAN. - The ruling coalition’s Prosperous Armenia Party MP Ashot Tonoyan informed Zhoghovurd daily that he will no longer run for a parliamentary mandate, the daily writes. 

“He considers it more convenient to continue his activities in the business sector, and believes that the [National Assembly] NA must have people who can work more effectively in the legislative domain. Let us recall that Tonoyan made fairly considerable financial expenses to obtain the desired mandate. What is more, he faces serious financial problems to this day. In fact, it took [the owner of] Tonus [Company] four years to understand that the National Assembly is not his place,” Zhoghovurd writes.
