YEREVAN. – Armenian MOD Military Police (MP) Chief Aram Ter-Sahakyan will soon be relieved of his duties. He held this office since December 17, 2010, replacing former Deputy Defense Minister and current Police Chief, Vladimir Gasparyan, Yerkir daily writes, referring to the information it received.

“Among the new MP aspirants, they speak about MOD Control Department Chief Armen Sahakyan, [National Assembly] NA MP Arakel Movsisyan, and Chief Prosecutor’s Office Security Department Chief Hovik Vardanyan. According to our source, however, Armen Sahakyan’s nomination is more likely to be confirmed from among these three,” Yerkir writes.
