The Turkish business circle representatives, who arrived in Paris to lobby against the bill that criminalizes the denial of the Armenian Genocide, were refused a hall for holding a conference.

The Turkish Industrialists’ and Businessmen’s Association (TÜSİAD) and the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) days ago had leased Paris Le Grand Hotel’s hall, to hold a 200-person conference. But the Hotel administration canceled the room reservations and the hall’s lease, at the last moment, noting they are occupied, NTV News Agency of Turkey informed.

To note, the French National Assembly will discuss the aforesaid bill on Thursday. And, in this connection, the Turkish authorities have made threatening statements and also sent a parliamentary delegation to France, to prevent the bill’s passage.
