YEREVAN. – In comparison with the same time period last year, Armenia’s economic activeness indicator constituted 2.4 percent in November 2011, Armenian National Statistical Service informed.

Also, the economic activeness reduced in November, in comparison with October, and this is primarily conditioned by the seasonal stoppage in agricultural activities.    

But for the most part, the branches of economy still maintain their previous trends. Industrial growth is accelerating, but the other branches maintain their slow growth or reduction rates. Instead, there is reduction in construction, but this reduction rate slowed in comparison with the previous months.   

Furthermore, there is an unusually high growth rate in electricity production, and this is a result of exporting electricity to Iran.
