YEREVAN. – On Wednesday, Armenia’s President Serzh Sargsyan received Ambassador Traian Hristea, the new Head of the EU Delegation to Armenia, during which Armenia-EU cooperation was underscored. 

President Sargsyan noted that this cooperation has become fairly active in recent times, and stressed that Armenia is determined to continue its reforms.

In his turn, Ambassador Hristea stated that Armenia-EU relations are on a high level, and assured that throughout his tenure he will aspire to preserve that level and to step up the efforts toward increasing trust, discourse, and cooperation. He also highlighted that EU is interested in deepening relations with Armenia, by way of assisting in the country’s reforms, Presidential Press Office informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
