YEREVAN.- An electronic database will be created to permit placement of billboards on highways in Armenia, Minister of Transport Manuk Vardanyan told journalists on Wednesday.

According to him, in case the draft decision introduced by the government is adopted, chaos in the roads will disappear. In particular, the billboards advertising kebab or barbecue will be removed.

The new procedure provides specific places for placing billboards. Previously, the advertiser himself decided where to place his ads, while the ministry and police simply conducted inspection.
