The permanent population of Armenia has increased, reaching 3,075,800 people as of the end of 2024, according to figures published by the Statistical Committee, Armenpress reports.
Moreover, in early 2024, the population of Armenia was 2,991, 200.
For comparison, at the end of 2023, the permanent population of Armenia was 2,991,200, and at the end of 2022, it was 2,937,500.
During 2024, a total of 33,648 people were born in Armenia, and 25,576 died. The natural increase was 8,072 people.
