STEPANAKERT. - Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) President Bako Sahakyan visited Thursday Karabakh’s Shushi region and attended the 20th anniversary celebration of the heroic battle in Karin Tak village.

The President mentioned that Karin Tak village’s defense, being among NKR’s first and fundamental victories, had its unique place in the history of Karabakh’s national liberation struggle. This battle has proved that patriotism, faith, and dedication are able to neutralize the quantitative advantage of the enemy, and to eventually defeat it, Office of NKR President informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Sahakyan underlined that this and all other victories have been achieved through blood, and that the best way to preserve the memory of our martyrs is to develop the country, Karin Tak village, and all other settlements in Karabakh.
