The crashed TU-154 plane took off from Tehran behind the schedule, Caspian Airlines representative informed NEWS.am.

“Because of bad weather conditions plane took off from Tehran behind the schedule and crashed 16 minutes after the take-off. The crash cause is not clarified yet,” the representative stated.

The plane crashed 16 minutes after take-off from the International Imam Khomeini Airport near Jannatabad village, Qazvin province. The aircraft fell out of the sky and exploded on impact. 153 passengers and 16 crew members are dead.
