NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte discussed the situation surrounding Iran and regional security issues with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Rutte said the two sides agreed on the importance of NATO's 360-degree approach to security and the alliance's readiness to deter and repel threats from any direction. "We are always ready to deter and defend against any threat, from any direction," Rutte wrote on X.
