Anti-Russian Faction in NATO opposes reloading of relations with RF, Permanent representative of Russia to NATO Dmitry Rogozin stated in Dec. 1 interview with Vesti Russian channel.

According to him, controversies aroused in RF-NATO Council as a result of Russia’s partners disagreement with Moscow position in European security improvement.

“The aim of Russia-NATO Council work is emasculated from documents due to stances of some NATO delegations,” Rogozin said outlining that Russian side’s repeated attempts to insist on the purpose of European security improvement failed. According to him, other negotiation formats are imposed on Russia attempting to pack it up.

The Canadian delegation blocked adoption of all documents at the forthcoming meeting.

December 4, 2009 Foreign Ministers will take part in the meeting of Russia-NATO Council in Brussels.
