The number of swine flu cases in Armenia reached 49, Assistant to RA Health Minister Shushan Hunanyan informed NEWS.am. According to her, 9 more A/H1N1 cases were registered within the last days.

No swine flu deaths were recorded in the country, Hunanyan outlined.

As NEWS.am reported previously, RA Health Minister Harutyun Kushkyan told the journalists that as of December 8, 40 swine flu cases are registered in Armenia.

RA Education Minister Armen Ashotyan signed a decree on closing schools and kindergartens from December 8 to 19, 2009.
