The number of swine flu cases in Armenia reached 24, however there is no need to surrender to panic, RA chief infectiologist Ara Asoyan stated at Dec. 10 press conference.

According to him, all people receive in-patient treatment in Nork infectious diseases hospital. 26 out of 54 infected in Armenia are children, Asoyan outlined.

As for Tamiflu, (flu treatment and flu prevention drug), the physician said it should be prescribed by doctors when necessary.

“Only 5% of infected need medical treatment, however death cases, like throughout the world are also registered,” he concluded.
