YEREVAN. – The Poghosyan Gardens Company—which operates the Lovers’ Park in Armenia’s capital, Yerevan—, the American University of Armenia, and the “Armenia without Tobacco” NGO have launched the “Happy Playground where People do not Smoke” program, along whose lines a section of the Park’s open-air cafe, and the children’s playground and its neighboring area are planned to be declared a smoke-free zone.      

And the official opening of the zone will kick off Thursday—that is, on World No Tobacco Day—at 1pm. The event participants will play several games, will compete, and receive surprises.
