YEREVAN. – The delegation of Kuwaiti parliament headed by Speaker Ali Fahad Al-Rashid visited Memorial to the Armenian Genocide victims (photos).

Director of Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute Hayk Demoyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am they were shown the symbolic memorial plaque of Arab lawyer Fayez Al-Hussein, one of the first representatives of the Arab world who recognized and condemned the 1915 Genocide.

“Our guests were really impressed by the Memorial complex and were admired by architecture,” he said, noting that the delegation went down to the Eternal Flame.

The delegation of Kuwaiti parliamentarians led by Kuwaiti National Assembly Speaker Ali Fahad Al-Rashid arrived on a four-day visit to Armenia on Wednesday evening.
