YEREVAN. – The Presidents of Armenia and Russia Serzh Sargsyan and Vladimir Putin opened the fifth energy unit of Hrazdan thermal power plant.

The unit belongs to ArmRusGasprom, the subsidiary of Gazprom in Armenia, Russian leader Vladimir Putin said during the third interregional forum being held in Gyumri.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has arrived on a state visit to Armenia. The two-day state visit of the Russian leader will start in Gyurmi, the second largest city of Armenia. During the visit Vladimir Putin and Serzh Sargsyan will visit #102 Russian military unit and wil participate in the third Russian-Armenian interregional forum.
