YEREVAN. – The Armenia Road Police on Monday added sound signaling devices to the pedestrian traffic lights on the pedestrian crossings at the intersection of Nalbandyan and Tumanyan Streets in downtown capital city Yerevan.

These devices switch on automatically once the pedestrian traffic lights turn green, and to ensure the safety of visually-impaired pedestrians.

On July 9, such sound signaling devices were installed on the pedestrian traffic lights on the pedestrian crossings at the intersection of Tumanyan and Abovyan Streets in downtown Yerevan.
