YEREVAN. – Around 160 inspections were carried out in the banks and currency exchange booths of Armenia in November-December 2014.
According to the decision by CBA chairman, 16 banks and 12 currency exchange booths were forced to pay fines or their licenses were suspended.
The total amount of fines reached around $90,000, while 23 financial institutions received warnings,. The license of three currency exchange booths was suspended.
