The CNBC television of Turkey, while conducting a live coverage of the Battle of Gallipoli 100th anniversary events being held in Canakkale, Turkey, on April 24, accidentally aired the Armenian Genocide Centenary live commemoration simultaneously being held at the Genocide Memorial in Armenia’s capital city of Yerevan.

And the CNBC presenter spoke about the Canakkale remembrance events, whereas the Genocide Memorial commemoration was being televised lived on the CNBC screens.

The “mistake” by this Turkish TV company has caused quite a stir in Turkey.
