YEREVAN. - At the second and final reading, Armenia’s Parliament adopted the amendments to the Law on Trade and Services. All the 98 MPs present voted in favor.

According to the bill, the sales of medicines and cosmetics without control stamps shall be extended from April 30 to June 30.

The deadline has been extended so that the traders are given the opportunity to re-execute their agreements with suppliers, and later request control stamps from the Tax Service.

The application of stamps will be extended over other commodities as well, if necessary.

Control stamps have been applied since 2013 for the control of retail trade.
