YEREVAN. - Armenia will for the second time host the international FRESCO Festival of Modern Art and Spiritual Films from June 27 to July 5. The festival will be held both in capital Yerevan and Armenia’s provinces.

The festival aims to not only screen spiritual and moral international film series, but also hold free and healthy public discussions on issues raised through them.

This year the Festival Programme also includes photo exhibition and sand drawing show, which will be open to everyone in the territory of Swan Lake, Yerevan.

The films brought to Armenia will go out of the cinema and literally enter the street. Armenians will be able to attend open air exhibitions and screenings without tickets for 9 days. Ordinary chairs will be replaced by pillows, and the local and foreign official guests of the festival will stay with the audience during the screenings.

The festival also attaches particular importance to the work with special social groups, especially people with disabilities.

As a result of cooperation with FRESCO Festival of Modern Art and Spiritual-Moral Films, people with disabilities will not only participate in all the festival events, but also actively engage in the organizational work of FRESCO.
