STEPANAKERT. – The adversary carried out a sabotage and intelligence-gathering infiltration attempt on Saturday at 3:05am, in the northeastern sector of the Line of Contact between the Karabakh-Azerbaijani opposing forces.

The military-position-holding forces of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) Defense Army, however, detected this advance by the Azerbaijani sabotage team, took preventive actions, and drove it back its initial position while causing it to suffer casualties, informed the press service of he NKR Ministry of Defense (MOD).

The NKR Defense Army, on the other hand, suffered no casualties during the skirmish.  

In addition, the adversary violated the ceasefire along the Line of Contact around 150 times, and by way of various-caliber weaponry. 

But after the NKR Defense Army vanguard units’ actions taken in response, the Azerbaijani army’s “activeness” was silenced along the Line of Contact.
