YEREVAN. - Armenia will become the member of the Council of Europe’s Eurimages Fund starting from 2016, Armenia’s Minister of Culture Hasmik Poghosyan said today at the parliamentary hearings on the State Budget Draft for 2016.

According to her, paying the annual member fee in the amount of EUR 116,000, Armenia will be able to use the means of the fund, which allocates nearly EUR 20 million for cinematograph every year. According to the State Budget Draft for 2016, the state support to cinematography should overall constitute about 659 million AMD (approx. $1,4 million) or almost the same amount as in 2015.
