Within the framework of his official visit to Greece, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan on Monday visited the Byzantine and Christian Museum in capital city Athens, and, together with Greek President Prokopis Pavlopoulos, attended the official opening of an exhibition entitled, “Armenia: The Spirit of Ararat.”

The more than one hundred exhibits, which are displayed at the museum, represent Armenia from the Bronze Age until the 20th century.

The Armenian and Greek presidents, accompanied by the culture ministers and members of official delegations from the two countries as well as numerous guests, toured the exhibition halls, and got familiarized with the rich exhibits.
