YEREVAN. – The month of May, just like April, was quite successful in terms of a growth in the tax revenues of the state budget of Armenia.
From January to March, however, rather unfavorable developments were recorded in this domain.
But in May, the state budget revenues of the country increased by 6 percent, on an annual basis, whereas the negative trends were maintained in terms of the value-added tax (VAT).
In the aforesaid month, VAT collection dropped by 3.7 percent, on an annual basis, and this led to a relative slowdown in the dynamics of the overall tax revenues of Armenia’s state budget.
